The PhD Program in Medicine and Experimental Therapies is pleased to announce a seminar organized by Prof. Barbara Cellini, member of the PhD Board, featuring Dr. Jonathan Whittamore, Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas, USA).
During the seminar, Dr. Whittamore will discuss the role of intestinal oxalate transport in the pathophysiology of hyperoxaluria and kidney stone disease, highlighting recent advances in our understanding of oxalate homeostasis and their potential implications for the prevention and treatment of nephrolithiasis.
