PhD Ceremony for the XXXVIII Cycle of the PhD Programme in Inflammatory and Infectious Diseases, Therapeutic Strategies and Bioethics

On 22 June 2026, the Department of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Perugia held the Degree Award Ceremony for the XXXVIII Cycle of its PhD programmes.

The ceremony celebrated the academic and research achievements of the PhD graduates, marking the successful completion of their doctoral training. The event was attended by the Rector of the University of Perugia, the Director of the Department of Medicine and Surgery, Professor Francesco Grignani, the Mayor of Perugia, Vittoria Ferdinandi, and the President of the Umbria Region, Stefania Proietti.

A special congratulations goes to the graduates of the XXXVIII Cycle of the PhD Programme in Inflammatory and Infectious Diseases, Therapeutic Strategies and Bioethics, coordinated by Professor Roberta Spaccapelo. Throughout their doctoral journey, the graduates have contributed to advancing research in infectious and inflammatory diseases, innovative therapeutic approaches, and bioethical and legal aspects of biomedical sciences.

The ceremony represented an important occasion to recognize the commitment, dedication, and scientific excellence of the new PhD graduates, as well as the invaluable support provided by faculty members, supervisors, technical and administrative staff, collaborators, and families.
